The number of registered live births in Ifugao reached 3,617 in 2021. There were more registered male live births with 1,862 than females with 1,755. Corn total production in CAR was estimated at 214,867 metric tons in January to December 2021, Kalinga has the second highest contribution with 66,720 metric tons or 31 percent share. Ifugao ranked first with 73,711 metric tons or 34 percent, Apayao ranked 3rd with 30,349 or 14 percent, then Mountain Province with 25,133 metric tons or 12 percent, Abra with 18,471 metric tons or 9 percent and the least was Benguet with 483 metric tons or 0.22 percent share. The Fishery production in Ifugao, as of the 2021 Fourth Quarter increased by 30.5 percent compared to its total production in the same period a year ago. The increased attributed to the abundant of water supply which is essential in fishpond operation. The acquisition of quality tilapia fingerlings jacked up the production during the stocking and rearing particularly on Freshwater cage and Freshwater fishpond production. The produced increased to 880.10 metric tons from 611.87 metric tons, gaining over 268.23 metric tons to its 2020 Fourth Quarter total production. There were 2,111 registered marriages for the 4th quarter of 2021 showing an increase of 39 percent from the same quarter of last year’s figure of 1,274. A total of 4,069 deaths were registered in the Cordillera Administrative Region during the 4th quarter of 2021. The figure indicated an increase of 45.24 percent death occurrence from the 2020 figure of 2,228.
